I am Mary Kay Thill, MA, LCPC, CCSAC a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, motivational speaker, spiritual guide, and writer with over 25 years of experience helping others grow. I have a background in individual, marital, and family psychotherapy. My work history includes outpatient treatment centers, community mental health, and I was the clinical director at a home for young women.

Why does a person decide on counseling?

There are times in life when stress levels seem more than you can bear. This is when you need to find the courage to ask for help. We all need help at one time or another. Stress is inherent in each of our lives. It is a sign of inner strength to reach out, and make an effort to change.

I have helped individuals with a variety of problems including: spiritual crisis, depression, time management, career goals, midlife crisis, self-esteem, parenting, relationships, communication, grief due to death or divorce, loneliness, fears and phobias, anger issues, sexual abuse, substance abuse, menopause or PMS, stress management, and others.
